Center from October 6th to 8th, with a lineup of events and new additions today. New Theater Venue and Festival Shuttle Service This year, all film screenings will take place at the NCG Cinemas in Peachtree Corners Marketplace on Saturday, October 5th. 

Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, we are pleased to announce a new partnership with Marriott Hotel, providing a convenient shuttle service for all registered festival attendees. The shuttle will transport guests between the Town Green, where outdoor events will be held, and NCG Cinema. 

Although the theater is only a mile away, this service ensures that attendees won’t have to worry about losing their parking spots. We’re delighted to offer this complimentary service to enhance your festival experience New Categories in Our Short Film Competitions In addition to our general sci-fi, Afrofuturism and Indigenous film categories, this year we are introducing: Comedy, Animated Sci-Fi, and the ATLiens category for Georgia residents. 48-Hour Sci-Tech Film Challenge Returning for its second year, our 48-Hour Sci-Tech Film Challenge, sponsored by OVHcloud – a global cloud infrastructure provider, will take place the weekend of September 20, 2024. Dubbed the FreeStyle Rap Battle of film competitions, this challenge invites filmmakers to integrate current and innovative technology into an original short sci-fi film, competing for cash prizes and the title of “Best 48-Hour Sci-Tech Film of the Year.”
